Administration Policy

​

  • By booking on to any classes or events you automatically agree to our standard terms and conditions, which can be seen below.

  • If you no longer wish to attend a class, then the Instructor or Management must be informed immediately.

  • Class fees must be paid before the first lesson.

  • There are NO REFUNDS & NO TRANSFERS for classes, courses, sessions, workshops, tickets or events not attended or that need to be cancelled, as this helps to keep our costs low, which benefits everyone who attends.

  • Students with poor attendance or high levels of dancing fee arrears leading up to a show may not be eligible to take part in that particular show. 

  • Haus of Ruby's Rebels runs all year and our Timetable is produced every 3 months (subject to change)

Behaviour Policy

The Haus of Ruby's Rebels prides itself on providing a safe and happy environment with enjoyment and burlesque being at the root of all our classes. Our Behaviour Policy exists to maintain this environment and enable students to reach their full potential.

  • Rude, disruptive, threatening and abusive behaviour within the class or group will not be tolerated in any way; IInstructors reserve the right to ask students to leave the class at any time, if they feel that their behaviour is disturbing the enjoyment of others.

  • If any member of Staff feels that the behaviour of an individual is continuously disruptive or in breach of this Behaviour Policy, the student concerned may be asked to leave.

  • We ask you to inform us in advance if you are going to be absent for a period of time, this way we can allow someone else to join.

  • Behaviour in unsupervised areas e.g. changing rooms, toilets, backstage must also be acceptable and in line with the Behaviour Policy.

  • Haus of Ruby's Rebels accept no responsibility for damage or loss of any personal belongings.

Health and Safety Policy

Our aim is to ensure that all reasonable and practical steps are taken to ensure the health, safety and welfare of all persons using the premises.  

To achieve this we will actively work towards the following objectives:

  • To establish and maintain a safe and healthy environment in all studios.

  • To establish and maintain safe working procedures amongst Staff and Students

  • To formulate effective procedures for use in case of fire and other emergencies and for evacuating the premises

  • To maintain a safe and healthy place to work with safe access to and from the premises

  • To follow the regulations of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and any other relevant legislation

  • No smoking on the premises

  • All fire exits are clearly marked and free from obstruction

  • All fire extinguishers are clearly labeled

  • All equipment and resources from the instructors are safe for use.

Payments & Refund Policy

​

For any purchases made via the website store for class, workshop, photoshoots payments or tickets for an event. 

​​

  • All classes, courses, photoshoots, events or workshops must be paid before attending, your place is not guaranteed until payment has been made.

  • If a payment plan has been put in place, all your payments must be made to guarantee your placement. If payments are not made or you cancel your plan any payments that have been made will not be refunded.

  • All classes, courses, workshops, tickets of any kind are non refundable and non transferable. 

  • Any physical item bought apart from tickets can be exchanged or refunded within 14 days of purchase. 

  • Tickets for events online or live are non refundable and non transferable.

  • Payments can be made via the Store, online booking system, invoice or bank transfer. 

 

Critera for Merchandise Refunds

  • You have 14 days from the receipt of an item to return it.

  • If you would like an exchange, follow our normal return process and place a new order for the item you'd like.

  • All merchandise must be returned undamaged.

  • For hygienic reasons we are unable to accept returns on “intimate items” like boy shorts, lingerie and swimwear. Because, gross.

  • Refunds will be processed to your original form of payment.

  • Shipping fees are non-refundable. 

  • We do not offer partial refunds.

We truly hope you love your new gear but if for some reason you need to return it here's what you need to do.

How to Return an Item

  • Check our Return Policy to be sure your item is eligible for a return.

  • If it meets the return criteria, contact us and we will provide the return address.

  • Safely package your item to be returned to us. Unfortunately items damaged in transit can't be accepted for returns.

  • Ship us your item. You may want to use a traceable shipping method to ensure successful delivery of your return - its on you!

  • Once received, we will validate your item qualifies for a return. If it does, we will refund the total amount of goods within 14 days. Sorry, unfortunately shipping fees are non-refundable.

Burlesque Parties

If we are coming to you:

You will need to book the venue.

We will need access to an electrical point for the speaker. 

We will arrive 10-20 mins prior to your class to set up.

If you are wanting a burlesque performer and/or a male stripper, butler in the buff, you will need to make sure there is a private room for them to get dressed in and where they can leave their belongings, which is not a toilet. Set up time for performances will be 30 mins.

We recommend all participants being 18+, but if under 18 we ask that an adult accompanies them.

There can be no under 18s if you have requested a male stripper or burlesque performance. 

A bottle of prosecco will be given to you as the party game prize and this will be your responsibility to who it will be served to.

Some of our party warm up games include balloons, if anyone has an allergy to latex please let us know in advance. 

If there is anyone with any medical conditions that we need to be aware of, please let the instructor know on arrival.

You will need to make sure that there is plenty of room for all the people attending. We will always do our best to accommodate, but we do not accept any responsibility or liability for injuries or damage that happen outside of our own studio or those under the influence of alcohol or consciousness altering drugs whether obtained or taken legally or not.

If  the instructor has to cancel at the last minute due to sickness, injury or delays, a full refund will be given and you will be contacted immediately. We will do our best to replace the instructor before cancelling. 

If a performer has to cancel at the last minute due to sickness, injury or delays, a refund for the service will be given and you will be contacted immediately. We will do our best to replace the performer.

A 20% non refundable deposit is required upon booking, the full payment is to be made 21 days before the class party date. If the full payment has not been paid the booking will be cancelled and any payments made will not be refunded.

If people do not attend a refund or reduction will not be given after the deposit has been paid. â€‹

Legal Terms
Event/Private Bookings

​

1) The Artists are treated as self-employed and are responsible for their own National Insurance & Income Tax.

​

2) Illness - in the event of an accident or illness preventing the Artist(s) from appearing, then: a) The Hirer shall be informed at the earliest possible opportunity; b) The Artist will not be held responsible for any loss occurring as a result; c) The Hirer will not be expected to pay a fee to the Artist or reimburse the Artist for travel expenses; d) the Artist will attempt to arrange a replacement artist.

3) Travel delays/ Cancellations – In the event that the Artist(s) is prevented from appearing due to cancellation or delay of flights/trains/car break-down/traffic delays, then: a) The Artist must inform the Hirer of any delay or cancellation of travel at the earliest possible opportunity; b) The Artist will not be held responsible for any loss occurring as a result; c) The Hirer will not be expected to pay a fee to the Artist or reimburse the Artist for travel expenses. d) If they are physically able to, the Artist will attempt to arrange a replacement artist.

4) Health & Safety - the Hirer undertakes to provide a safe working environment. The stage/performance area should be clean, clear and safe and free of wires/cables, glitter, debris, liquids, food-stuffs, fake blood, paraffin or any other substances that may create a hazard to the artists and/or damage the artists’ costumes. The artists reserve the right to refuse to perform if the stage/performance area is not considered safe and clean.

5) Dressing Room: a)A changing area/dressing room should be provided for the artist, which is safe, private, clean, non-smoking, and not accessible by members of the public. b)Water must be provided backstage. c)The artists reserve the right to refuse to perform if these conditions are not met.

​

6)  Sound & tech: a) The Artists will provide MP3s of the music and tech requirements in advance by email as well as bringing it on USB. b) The Hirer agrees to allow the Artists’ music to be sound-checked before the performance. c) A soung engineer or DJ must be provided by the Hirer, performers are not expected to play their own music and if a compere is part of the package a mic must also be provided.

7) Photography & Filming: The Artists grant permission for photography and filming of their acts at the event – however, the Artists reserve the right to ask for any photographs/videos made of the Artists’ performance at the event to be removed if published online. If any photos of the Artists are to be published in print form, the Artists must give explicit prior consent.

8) Professional Conduct: a) The Artists will conduct themselves in a professional and responsible manner at all times: b) The Artists will not consume excessive amounts of alcohol or any illegal substances at any time whilst located at the performance venue. If the Hirer considers the Artist(s) to be intoxicated, they reserve the right to refuse the Artist(s) permission to perform and may withhold fees. c) The Artists agree to arrive promptly by the time stated by the Hirer unless there are travel delays/cancellations out of their control.

9) Authority to sign: If the person filling in the form is doing so on behalf of the client/venue/event, they must have authority to bind the client/venue/event in such a contract, and if they do not have such authority they will be personally liable for any fees payable under these terms and conditions.

​

10) If any of the conditions stated in this formare not compiled with, particularly pertaining to safety and/or cleanliness of the performance area, the Artists reserve the right to refuse to perform, in which case the full fee will remain payable.

​

11) Payment: a) an invoice will be sent to the Hirer and a 20% NON-REFUNDABLE deposit is required to confirm the booking. b) the remaining fee is to be paid 28 days before the event date stated. c) if the full fee has not been paid with the 28 days the booking will be cancelled and any payments made will not be refunded. d) if the event is cancelled within 28 days of the event date the Hirer will receive no refunds due to loss of work to the Artist.
