Our exclusive online private sessions ensure that you receive the individualized attention you need to develop your unique style or business, we cover many areas which are listed below.
Learn from the experienced and passionate burlesque performer Ruby 'D' Woo who will guide and inspire you at every step of your journey.
Join our sessions from the comfort of your own home, allowing you to fit burlesque into your busy schedule without compromising your priorities.
 
Here a just a few of the areas we work in the most, but your session is bespoked to you. 
Whether you're a seasoned performer or a complete beginner, our sessions are designed to cater to all levels of experience. 
 
Act Discussions - Planning new acts or updating acts, costumes, music and props. 
 
Act Feedback - Looking to enhance your act. We are honest and fair with our approach and look at your act from the perspective of an audience member, producer and experienced performer.  These can be done by sending us a video of your act or by performing your act via Zoom.
 
Admin - Performer Bios, Act Bios, Tech Sheets to make yours and the producers life easier. Along with insurance, contracts and invoices. Making sure everything is ready for applications and making the casting process easier for both parties.
 
Applying & Acceptance - Casting process, emails, videos, fees, responding, backstage etiquette, keeping safe, commercial and corporate work.
 
Business Set Up - All the things needed to set up your own burlesque business ( MentorStrip is recommended) from branding, marketing, class plans, prices, venues, merchandise, websites, booking systems, finances and much more. 
 
Advance Business - Want to expand your business or look for new ways to improve your class plans, as well as get new students? Want to go over business finances or the legal side of running a business? (For multiple areas, we would recommend the MentorStrip)
 
Troupe to Solo - Looking at becoming a solo performer, but only had troupe training. Then we can go through all the fundamentals to help get you on the way. 
 
Production - Looking at putting on a show and want advice on how to create your first show! You can ask Ruby all the questions you want along with advice. Ruby has sold every single show she has produced across the UK in the past 6 years! There is no gatekeeping here. 
 
Troupes - Are you a troupe and need some extra guidance in the burlesque industry? We can go over bookable troupe acts, fees, techs, troupe acts, and commercial and private bookings. Branding, marketing and more! (We recommend the MentorStrip to cover all these areas)

About Ruby 'D' Woo
Ruby has won several UK competitions and headlined many burlesque shows , she has been running fully booked burlesque classes for the past 6 years, her private sessions are always fully booked months in advance and her shows have sold out for 6 years straight and she regular returning customers. Ruby has worked with companies like Bierkeller, Cosy Club and Castle Rock Brewery, she also produces shows for private events almost every month. She has worked along side many well known drag queens and she also hosts burlesque hen parties all over the UK. Ruby has taught hundreds of people and those have gone on to be regular performing artists, producers, teachers, award winners and headliners themselves. She has taught people with zero experience and those who already have experience in the field. 
Ruby has an eye for detail and really wants to see everyone succeed, she does not gate keep and will help you with everything she can.
